Safety on the water
Always wear a life jacket if your on a boat like kayak or canoe.
Seabirds
Don’t catch sea birds and if you see plastic in the sea and leave it there.The birds that will
be flying around the sea to look for food they will see the plastic.And eat the plastic and the
will die.If the plastic went in their tummy then they will die because they will not be able to eat food.
Catching fish/taking fish
When your catching a snapper it must be 30cm or mare.You do NOT change or remove any of there scales.Put the fish you taking home on salt ice to keep them fresh and good to eat.Let the big fish go because they are breeding fish and they might have eggs.SOS-save our seabirds.Black petrel birds are nearly gone.

Kaimoana=seafood.Measure from the middle of the tail to the start of its nose.
